OBJECTIVES

Major objectives of a Catholic school education are:

1. To work with the home in educating children toward the fullness of Christian life.

2. To teach Catholic principles and Christian values.

3. To offer personal experiences in Christian living through liturgy, sacramental life, prayer, guidance, and example.

4. To instruct in human knowledge and skills which enable students to actively participate in the parish, community, and society.

5. To recognize the dignity of every person.

6. To develop Christian leadership skills emphasizing peace and justice.

7. To encourage teachers to become committed Christians and to continue to develop in professional competence.
